WW2 British army 1940 ptn battledress tunic dated 1944 in good very condition.The battledress has the 2nd pattern formation patches for anti-aircraft command with Royal artillery shoulder titles with both being woven examples, the tunic has the insignia for a Regimental sergeant major with gunnery instructor trade insignia in brass and with the backing plates and split pins in place.The tunic has a makers label with all the size details and makers name printed on it with two dates showing on the label 1943 and 1944, the war department ink stamp is showing the letter M which confirms it was issued in 1944.The tunic has its medal bar in place, all the items stitched to the tunic have been UV tested and are period fitted patches.The battledress tunic does have a few small moth nips here and there but overall is in very good original condition.The tunic retains its whistle lanyard and there is a button missing at the front of the tunic second one down from the top,this can be seen in the photographs.Please see the photographs for further detail.
