WW1 Naval ptn officers leather Webley holster in good used condition.The leather is supple with all its rivets in place and it has a shoulder strap stitched to the back of the holster,one part of the strap is worn and has had a bit of leather glued to it so to re-enforce that part of the strap this has been photographed and will help prevent further wear on that part of the strap.Still fine for display purposes but I would not recommend this holster for use .The holster has very good colour with a nice mid brown in colour, it has a small war department arrow but with no N underneath the inside of the leather holster is marked in ink for C squadron No 9 1 LG this has been photographed.The holster does have some faint stamped marks on the inside of the closing flap which are P.H with a small D and a underscore line this is for Parker Hale as well as some detail in pencil.The holster has two points on the flap where the brass nipple could be located this would be for the larger framed Webley range or the MK 6 Webley which came into service from 1915, the nipple is placed on its top setting so this would suggest the MK 6 Webley was used in this holster.
