Description
Rare Naval jacknife c1878 in good used condition.The jacknife has the war department issue stamp on the base of the blade with the markings reading W arrow D 6, the blade is also maker marked for Atkinson Brothers Sheffield. The blade is a tight fit to the handle with no play, the stag horn handle is tight to the metal frame and shows age related wear with good colour to the metal parts, one side does look like it has had a small repair which looking at the handle was done sometime ago and has been photographed.A very rare jacknife to find complete with its lanyard ring intact, please see the photographs for further detail.
