Description
Royal Ulster constabulary R.U.C officers belt and holster rig in good used condition. The black leather belt has all its fittings in place with the leather supple. It has no markings and is 45 inches long.
The belt has a brass snake clasp fitting which shows good age related colour. The open top Webley holster has a war department arrow on the inside. The holster has two leather straps on the back, these are a period alteration. It was originally a brown leather holster and has been dyed black, again a period alteration. It also has a wooden plugged end in the 03 ptn holster which would normally be open.
The leather strap that goes over the holster has had repairs which can be seen in the photographs.
The leather ammunition pouch has no maker mark or date that can be seen. The holster and ammunition pouch both date from patterns used in WW1.
The ammunition pouch has supple leather with all its straps and brass buckles in place.

WW1 British army wirecutters in good used condition. The wirecutters are war department arrow marked on both sides and also maker marked on both sides for Chater Lea Ltd with the date 1917 clear to see, the wirecutters show age related colour with a little play in the handles but still fairly tight considering their age.
