Description

WW1 08 ptn webbing waterbottle carrier & waterbottle in good used condition. The 08 ptn webbing carrier is in un-blancoed condition and retains its original brass fittings with the popper stud in the correct wartime position, all the brass fittings are consistent with colour. The webbing 08 carrier is maker marked for M.E & Co with a clear date of 1916 but no war department stamp showing.The blue enamel waterbottle has a stepped top but also has a loop for the cork to be tied to so it is a post ww1 example, the khaki felt covering does show age and the cork is still in place but tight.Please see the photographs for further details.
