Description
WW1 British 1907 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Enfield.
The date of issue is not very clear the stamping is very poor but I think it is 1916. The bayonet shows age-related colour to the pommel and cross guard.
The blade of the bayonet is full length and in good clean condition. It has its bend test mark with the war department arrow and various inspection stamps.
It still has its original wooden grips in place which show signs of use.
The leather scabbard is a tear drop type in good condition with the metal fittings top and bottom which are tight and marked RE for Remington with the blued finish showing.
The leather to the scabbard is in good condition with its stitching intact.
