WW1 Medics waterbottle and leather strap dated 1915 and in very good condition.The waterbottle is complete with its cork and cup in place with the chain fixed to the cup and top loop on the waterbottle. The waterbottle cover is complete with no signs of mothing and the leather shoulder strap is supple and has a good aged colour to the finish, the leather shoulder strap is dated 1915 and has the W/D mark it does have a makers mark but it is to faint to see clearly. The medics waterbottle would have been used in the field and is a rare item to find, i have never had one in this condition before complete with the cup and cork still in place.The leather shoulder strap is missing a slider used to secure the the leather after adjustment on the buckle.Please see the photographs for further detail of this item.
