Description
WW1 officers private purchase water bottle complete with its leather cradle and khaki covering.A very rare item these days, the leather cradle is supple with its stitching in place and brass fitments in good condition.The khaki covering is in very good condition and shows minor age related wear.The water bottle has no maker marked that i can see and is a private purchase item dating to the early years of the war and possibly pre ww1. A very nice and rare item that could be from the Boer war or ww1 and in its original condition, please see the photographs for further detail.
