Description
WW1 Princess Mary 1914 Christmas tin with a full packet of playing cards dated 1915 both in good used condition. The Princess Mary tin does show traces of its original gilt finish but only in a few places, the detail is still very good detail and has not been polished. The tin does have some details scratched into the base of the tin but i cannot see them clearly to make out the detail, the tin has a good hinge and no splits on the corners.The tin also contains a full packet of playing cards which are all marked and dated 1915, the markings have been photographed. The packet for the playing cards does show age related wear but all the cards are in good condition, a very rare item to find and the first i have ever come across, please see the photographs for further detail.
