WW1 R.F.C DOXA POCKETWATCH C1916
Description
WW1 R.F.C Doxa pocketwatch c1916 in good working condition. It is the mark V 30 hour non luminous type this is shown on the dial. The movement is marked Swiss made and Doxa showing on the movement.
It keeps good time over a twenty four hour period for a watch of this age just gaining a couple of minutes.
The nickel case has minor age related colour with no dings to the back case. It has the air ministry mark used by the R.F.C from 1914 through to 1917.
The dial of the watch is in good condition with no damage or restoration. The original hands of the watch and black and white detail on the dial are in good condition.
It retains its original crystal which does show age related wear with some minor marks showing.
The winder has had a ring fitted with a small lanyard in place.
As with all watches of this age I will bench test them to ensure good time keeping and that they are in good working order.
It is sold as a collectible item not intended for everyday use.
