Description
WW1 Royal flying corps R.F.C Omega pocketwatch in good working condition. The pocketwatch is in good working condition and keeping very good time over a 12 hour period. The pocket watch is a 30 hour non-luminous mark V which is marked on the dial along with B.B.6754.
The dial is in good condition with some age related wear near the centre which can be seen in the photographs. The watch case has a snap back outer case which when removed shows a dust cover protecting the Omega watch movement this is marked Omega as is the watch movement.
The serial number 5164950 on the movement dates the watch to 1917. The watch has been serviced and is keeping excellent time for a watch of this age. The back cover has the correct R.F.C aviation markings with the war department arrow under a line and with the A over the top c1914-17.
The watch also has some initials which can be seen in the photographs. The watch has a silver nickel case which is in good condition. It has some minor dings in places but generally in good condition for its age with its finish in place.
