WW1 Trench map of Polygon wood dated 9th September 1917 in good used condition.The map is scale 1:20,000 and shows German trenches corrected to the 9th September 1917 but with another date of 12th September 1917 in the bottom left hand corner which I assume is the printed date.The sheet is marked part of sheet 28 and has one hand drawn line in pencil at the top of the map with some figures written in just under the name at the top of the map.The map was used by Lt Frederick Victor Moore who served with the R.G.A and came direct from the family, I purchased a number of items from Frederick’s son with this being the last item I will be looking to sell on at the moment.Frederick was later transferred to the Italian front by November 1917 but served through all the stages of the battle for Passchendaele making this a used item during the battle.Please see the photographs for further detail.
