WW2 British officers private purchase slouch hat dated 1942 in good used condition.The slouch has the pagri patch for the Royal Indian army service corps stitched onto the side of the slouch hat, the slouch hat is dated 1942 with a retailers mark of Vero & Everitt Ltd embossed into the leather sweat band.I cannot see a war department arrow so I am assuming the slouch hat is a private purchase item.The leather chin strap is in place but has become un-stitched on one side which I have left as found.The slouch hat is in good condition showing signs of use with some wear and tear,please see the photographs for further detail.
