Description
WW2 German army single decal M40 steel helmet and liner in good combat used condition. The steel helmet is maker marked SE and is size 64 .
The steel helmet retains its original liner which shows age related wear through use and is still supple but with no visible markings that I can see.
The liner rivets are all tight and retain there original finish which has been photographed. It shows signs of use and age and still retains 65% of its original factory finish but with age related wear especially on the top of the steel helmet.
The single decal shows age related wear with a good percentage still in place this has been photographed.
Its liner is retained with the three original rivets and is supple with age related wear and tear showing it is complete as per the photographs.
The leather chin strap shows age and when looked at different angles seems to have a very faint date 1940 but this is so faint.
