Description
WW2 R.A.F air ministry stopwatch in good working condition dated 1940.The stopwatch is clearly marked on the back cover with the Kings crown over AM 6B/117 3041/40 and on the inside are the markings G & S Co Ltd which stand for Goldsmith & Silversmith Co Ltd, a rare marking to find on any ww2 timepiece. The dial of the pocketwatch is in very good condition with no visible crazing or fractures the contract number is also still visible 83817 and has been photographed. The movement of the stopwatch is in good clean condition with a serial number of 64004 and has no visible makers mark but I do believe it is a Lemania made movement. The nickel silver plated case show some age related wear but with good clear markings no major wear to the plated finish just signs of use which you would expect to see. Please see the photographs for further detail.
