Description
WW1 Imperial German butcher bayonet saw back removed and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet has had its saw back teeth factory removed the blade is in excellent condition.
The bayonet has a makers mark for Waffenfabrik Mauser A G Oberndorf a N and was issued in 1916 with the Imperial issue mark on top of the blade and on the pommel.
The bayonet has its wooden grip in place with the metal parts of the bayonet having a good aged related colour to the finish. The release button on the pommel is in working order.
The metal scabbard has its leather frog in place with a Berlin maker A Wunderlich Berlin S W the scabbard has a good age related colour to it that is inline with the finish on the bayonet.
The leather frog shows age related colour and wear, it is complete with no faults.
