Description
British army issue pocketwatch C1935 in good working condition. The pocketwatch is marked on the back cover war department arrow G.S MK II A 55355. It is circular 1935 up to 1939 when the G.S.T.P markings would have been used.
The pocketwatch covers front and back are screw on covers the front crystal is a replacement glass item. The case of the pocketwatch is silver nickel plated and in good condition.
The movement is a Swiss made movement with fifteen jewels and has been bench tested and works fine keeping good time. The black faced dial and original hands are in place with traces of the luminous paint finish showing. Watches are sold as collectables not intended for everyday use.
