Description

WW1 Imperial German model 1884/98 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition.The bayonet is maker marked for Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen fcche on one side and Bayard on the otherside, this has been photographed.The bayonet has the Imperial mark on the pommel and on top of the blade with the date 1916, the wooden grips are in good condition as is the scabbard which still retains most of its painted finish.The blade of the bayonet is very clean for its age with the other metal parts of the bayonet showing some age related colour, please see the photographs for further detail.
