Description
British army No 5 mk 1 jungle carbine bayonet and scabbard in very good used condition. The bayonet is marked with the letter P in a circle on the ricasso along with the date of 1946.
It has the war department arrow with an inspection mark on the top of the pommel.
The bayonet retains its blued finish on the pommel and cross guard with its two piece wooden grips in place.
It shows signs of use with age related wear showing.
The black painted scabbard is in good used condition with a very slight ding on the back. The blued finish has been overpainted black which has worn away in places.
