Description
British military wristwatch made by Timor and marked W.W.W in very good condition. The W.W.W wristwatch series was made by very many different watch company’s with only Timor and Omega having production in place before the end of WW2. The wristwatch waterproof watch was developed to replace the A.T.P watches with a better and more robust movement and case. The watch is in very good working condition and fully serviced with some signs of use, the case and crystal show very minor wear and tear. The movement of the watch is marked Timor and is Swiss made with 15 jewels, it has its dust cover and the inside of the case is marked W.W.W K 7057 36957 the same as the outside of the case. The dial of the watch is in good condition with the British army arrow stamp and Timor clearly seen in the photographs and is all original with no restoration, the hands show some minor signs of age but generally in very good condition. The watch keeps excellent time over 12 hours and has been bench tested against the computer, please see the photographs for further detail.
