Description
German SA dagger and scabbard in very good used condition. The dagger has the RZM mark of M7/13. The markers mark is for Arthur Schuttelhofer & Co Solingen-Wald.
It does show some signs of age to the plated pommel and cross guard which both retain there plated finish. The fruit wood handle has the odd mark caused through use with the SA roundel and eagle fitted perfectly to the handle.
The fit from the handle to the pommel and cross guard is very good with hardly any shrinkage showing.
The full length blade has its acid etched inscription n place on one side with the makers RZM mark on the other side. The blade has cross grain showing running along the blade with some age related wear showing in places.
The painted scabbard is in very good condition only showing very minor wear to the painted finish. It has all its screws and fitting in place with the ball on the end of the scabbard intact.
