Description
WW1 Imperial German 1897 ptn breadbag dated 1916 in good used condition and complete. The breadbag has all its leather straps and D rings in place. The breadbag does show age related wear with some period repairs which have been photographed.
It has its original buttons in place with the cloth belt loops in good condition and with the leather still in place on the left side loop as you look at the bag. The breadbag has ink markings with the belt hook dated 1916 and with other ink marks just above these have been photographed as have the ink markings on the inside of the breadbag which apart from the number 46 are difficult to see clearly.
A good example of this type of Imperial German equipment.
