Description
WW1 Officers private purchase double strap Sam Brown set in good used condition. The Sam Brown is maker marked for R W Stiby the date has faded due to age. The belt has four top D rings with supple leather and all its brass fittings in place.
One of the shoulder straps has a makers mark of M Harvey of Birmingham with the date 1917. The other strap has no maker marks.
The Sam Brown is complete its is 40 inches long from the buckle to the end of the belt. The shoulder straps are supple with there brass fittings in place, a good colour match with the age related colour consistent to all parts of the set.
