Description
WW2 British army No 4 mk II spike bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet only has one marking which is the letter D with the war department arrow over the top.
It is a mark that has questions still to answer, maybe Australian or it is Prince-Smith example with a inspection marking.
A rarer than normal mark though.
It shows signs of use with age related wear showing.
The scabbard is marked No 4 mk 1 with the war department arrow. It shows age and is dent free.
The 44ptn webbing frog is maker marked M.W & S Ltd dated 1945 with the AF code still visible. It has the war department arrow with age related wear showing.
