Description

WW2 German 2nd class iron cross EK2 in good used condition. The iron cross is three part construction with a magnetic core. The medal ring is stamped 25 which is for Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Graveur-Gold-und Silberschmiede-Innungen Hanau. Iron cross makers 23, 24 and 25 were guilds of men and women who made iron crosses under those PKZ numbers as opposed to a specific firm who made the crosses under their own makers number.

The outer frame shows age related colour while the iron core has age related colour with some of its original finish still intact. The swastika has lost its black finish completely.  The medal ribbon is a original replacement ribbon.
