WW2 German war merit cross 1st class in very good used condition. The cross is maker marked on the pin L58 which is for Rudolf Souval Wien the cross retains its silver finish with excellent detail it has a pin fitting on the back which is complete and in working condition. The silver finish on the back of the medal shows age related colour with its silver finish still present. This award was given to civilians for meritorious service in furtherance of the war effort and this is a fine original example of this in very good condition with great detail.The 1st class cross without swords is a rarer medal to find than the type with swords for combatants,please see the photographs for further details.
