Description
WW2 Officers service dress cap for the R.A.S.C in good used condition.The cap has a bronze officers R.A.S.C cap badge in place that is in good condition complete with its brown leather chin strap, the cap is in good condition with no signs of any moth damage.The inside of the cap is war department stamped with either a N or M as the date letter which would date the cap to 1943/44, the date letter is not clear but I would say it is the N this has been photographed so you can view.The brown leather chin strap has general service buttons in place,the leather sweat band does have a makers mark which is not clear but looks like Herstons & Sons Ltd again this has been photographed but is faint.Please see the photographs for further detail.
